Editor’s Note: My son’s wonderful brain is wired differently than mine, and while I
try to understand the way he
thinks, sometimes I am left
scratching my head, clueless,
not sure what it is I am supposed to do or say or how to
react. I am so grateful to have
many autistic adult friends
to whom I can turn when
this happens. They help me
