According to the manual of good practices, such as LPBrasil (2011) and Freitas and Castro (2012), the end of the OSB board, cannot coincide with the vertices of window and door openings. In this part of the wall, the board should be cut in C (window) or L (door) shape (Figure 3). This recommendation causes waste of OSB but provides rigidity to the wall.
