Why  outsource  your  bookkeeping?     Bookkeeping  is  much  like  going  to  the  dentist—no  one  really  wants  to  take  the   time  out  to  do  it  but  neglecting  the  issue  can  lead  to  serious  health   repercussions.         For  the  most  part,  this  is  why  business  owners  just  want  to  hire  someone  to  do   their  Bookkeeping  thus  avoiding  the  tedious  and  arduous  task  of  having  to  do  it   themselves  or  at  the  best  –  having  to  even  think  about  it  until  the  accountant  calls   for  their  books.       All  the  schools  of  thoughts  encourage  entrepreneurs  to  focus  on  their  strengths   and  to  hire  people  to  action  the  tasks  in  the  business  that  are  not  the   entrepreneur’s  core  competency.    In  our  mind  that’s  the  best  advice  anyone  can   give  a  new  business  owner  –  when  you  don’t  like  doing  something,  mistakes   happen  and  in  the  case  of  the  finances  –  these  mistakes  can  be  detrimental  to  the   business  –  effecting  their  bottom  line!     Most  medium  to  large  businesses  employ  one  or  more  bookkeepers  and   accountants.  Even  very  small  businesses  needs  to  at  least  have  a  part-‐time   bookkeeper.         It  is  a  common  misconception  that  you  will  lose  control  if  you  outsource  the   bookkeeping  function.
