Say Yes! For me, Richard Branson epitomises Entrepreneurship. His ability to see a gap in the market and find that very exacting solution, something no one else thought possible, is what makes him revolutionary. We don’t all have to be entrepreneurs to make a difference. In fact, very few people truly are entrepreneurs. Mostly we have taken a skill and passion and created something around it. That doesn’t in any way take away from what we have achieved. The big question is: how did we get there? If I look back at my own career, every time I have made a move it’s been because an opportunity presented itself. It was somehow linked to the vague direction I saw myself going in and my thoughts then were in the line of “Oh well! Here I go!” most often followed by “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!” Along the way I have had the opportunity to learn skills I would probably never have had the opportunity to learn. I learned what I don’t want to do, who I don’t want to work with. Most importantly I have leant that it is always possible to push yourself further than you ever thought possible. Natural talents and enthusiasm get you very far; knowledge is easy to add along the way. You can do exactly the same.
