River A&E laboratory
Independent and wildly enthusiastic health
professionals, Mr and Mrs Clark check the
sanity and spirit of the Wye and its environs.
Why? … is the Wye Valley truly the magical
area of outstanding natural beauty that it
claims to be?
A comic performance installation with serious
undertones, working interactively with
audiences, communities and schools
throughout the valley during the Festival in a
fun and thought provoking manner.
Connecting perceptions of health to that of
the art and environment (A&E) of local
communities and the river.
Come to the A&E Laboratory and you could
leave with a clear, sparkling bill of health or a
prescription to embrace healthy walks and
better water use.
We shouldn't be
wondering whether
children need art, music,
stories and poems any
more than gardeners
wonder whether plants
need water
