Woodworth siblings Named National
Winners in FFA Proficiency Awards
Jessica and William Woodworth, daughter
and son of Richard and Margaret Woodworth of
Burlington, West Virginia, were named National
Winners in the Proficiency Award area during
the 86th National FFA Convention in Louisville,
Kentucky in November. Proficiency Awards are
given to students who excel in their Supervised
Agricultural Experiences (SAE) as a part of the
Agricultural Education program.

During the convention, Jessica and William met
with sponsors of their award areas and explained
what they did to earn a place in the National
Finals, which includes the top four FFA members
in each area across the nation. Each then had
a 15-minute interview with a panel of judges
representing the agricultural industry who selected
