A warm welcome to this the fourth issue of Writers Abroad Magazine: The Third Space.
Our May offering is dedicated to the late Doreen Porter, a lady instrumental in helping to
bring past issues to you. She is sadly missed, not only for her expertise, but for her
contagious 'joie de vivre' which shone through in her writing. Writers Abroad, and the world,
is poorer for her passing. Read our tribute to Doreen on page four.
This one is for you, Doreen, and our wider audience across the globe.
We are certain there will be something for everyone within these pages. Get absorbed in a
short story, entertained by flash fiction, informed by an article, touched by a piece of poetry.
Our aim is to tempt your palette and feed your passion. Above all else, we hope this
magazine brings great enjoyment, wherever and whenever you choose to read it.
Writers Abroad members delight in writing for you, our readers, and seek to make their
contributions worthy of your time. Our three new members have added another dimension
to the content of this magazine. Despite spanning continents, we have collaborated to
produce a high quality magazine.
It helps us to improve, issue by issue, when we get feedback on your reading experiences,
