Sports' annual Adventure Team Challenge in western Colorado has been »» Penske Truck Rental termed by one experienced adventure race enthusiast as “the most difficult adventure race in the world.” Bringing together teams of five persons, two of which must have disabilities »» Telluride Adaptive Sports Program —one being a wheelchair user—the three-stage Challenge offered participants mountain biking, river rafting, hiking, rappelling and climbing. In each segment, all team members »» Timberline Tours must equally participate. First run in 2007, the Challenge has been held at three sites in Colorado: in the high mountains near Vail and Leadville and in the desert west of Grand Junction.
