The Dragons on Seventh Street Ryan Saladino

The dragons on Seventh Street were vicious creatures. They twisted up and around the neighborhood houses, clawing at the shingles and scratching the siding, while plumes of smoke billowed from their nostrils. The lazy sunlight glinted off their glittering scales, making them easy to spot but harder to look at. They made no attempts to hide. Feeling threatened, they would sputter and roar, gnashing their teeth in an attempt to scare off the enemy and retain possession of their precious prizes. Many of the citizens quivered in fear at the sight of them and cowered inside their homes. There was one brave young knight, however, who dared to face the terrorizing beasts.

This hero was donned from head to toe in a bike helmet and cardboard armor, and refused to let the horrifying sight of the monsters deter his confidence. He knew that the princess of the little neighborhood and her family were being held hostage just down the street, by the king of the dragons−evil incarnate, no doubt. It was against his morals to just leave her there−she was in distress and he was the only one who could help. With his unmatched skills and unparalleled arsenal, he just might be able to save the day.
