Christensen, Kaligis and Harding will game plan together, but Christensen will call plays on game day. He was named the National Offensive Coordinator of the Year by Rivals.com in 2007. Other additions to the Wyoming coaching staff in 2013 include: new quarterbacks’ coach Jason Gesser, who is a former All-American quarterback at Washington State; cornerbacks coach Renaldo Hill, who was a 10-year NFL veteran most recently with the Denver Broncos in 2010; defensive line coach Jamar Cain, who brings seven years of college coaching experience to Wyoming; and tight ends’ coach Nick Danielson, who was elevated to a full-time coaching position after serving as a graduate assistant coach for the Cowboys in 2012. | athletics Wyoming kicks off the 2013 season on Saturday, Aug. 31 in Lincoln, Nebraska, against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Wyoming’s other non-conference games will feature home games versus Idaho (Sept. 7) and Northern Colorado (Sept. 14) and a road game at Texas State (Sept. 28). The 2013 season will see the Mountain West Conference transition into two six-team divisions. Wyoming will compete in the Mountain Division along with Air Force, Boise State, Colorado State, New Mexico and Utah State. The Cowboys will also play three cross-divisional games against Fresno State, Hawai’i and San Jose State, who will play in the West Division. The other members of the West Division that UW won’t face in 2013 will be Nevada, San Diego State and UNLV. The inaugural Mountain West Football Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the home stadium of the MW divisional champion with the highest BCS ranking. W L M www.wyolifestyle.com 39
