Athletes of the Month
WSD’s Athlete of the Month Award was
established to recognize both the athletic and
academic efforts of our athletes. Athletic
Director Matthew Eby and the coaches select
two WSD athletes, one male and one female,
each month from both the middle school and
high school departments who demonstrate
sportsmanship and respect to coaches, officials,
and teammates. The coaches also consider the
athlete’s enthusiasm, support, commitment,
honesty, and personal success as well as
academic achievements.
