Camping Trip

Amy Dignan, her seven
Environmental Science students,
and Carlos Lopez from the
dorm, went on an overnight
camping trip to Devil’s Lake
State Park. The students worked
with a ranger and volunteered
their time to remove an invasive
species, garlic mustard plants,
from certain areas in the park.
Afterwards, the students went
swimming and hiking to a
landmark called the “Devil’s
Doorway”. Students cooked
dinner over a camp re and slept
in teepees for the night.
