BELOW: Jasmine gathers plants. Amy Dignan, her seven Environmental Science students, and Carlos Lopez from the dorm, went on an overnight camping trip to Devil’s Lake State Park. The students worked with a ranger and volunteered their time to remove an invasive species, garlic mustard plants, from certain areas in the park. Afterwards, the students went swimming and hiking to a landmark called the “Devil’s Doorway”. Students cooked dinner over a camp re and slept in teepees for the night.
