WSD vs. Eastbrook Academy 55-69
Eastbrook Academy came to WSD and beat the Lady Firebirds on the
home oor. WSD played well even with 5 players available. Junior Kori
Koss and senior Marika Beyer were very effective as an inside, outside
combination as evident by 53 points together. Junior Ka Youa Xiong had
a nice game with 9 rebounds.

WSD vs. Trinity Academy 35-46
The Lady Firebirds attempted to break the losing streak against Trinity Academy but lost again 35 to 46. Junior
Kori Koss led the team in scoring with 18 points. Junior Marika Beyer had another double double with 14
points to go with 12 rebounds. Junior KaYoua Xiong had 10 boards to go with 3 points. Kori also had 8 steals
to go with 3 blocks and 3 assists.
WSD vs. Eastbrook Academy 52-59
The Lady Firebirds lost a heart-breaking away game
against Eastbrook Academy. The Firebirds attempted
to come back in the game by scoring 23 points in the
4th quarter but it was a little too late. The team had
a scoring balance with Kori Koss scoring 18 points
while junior KaYoua Xiong scored 14 points. Senior
Marika Beyer led the team with 15 rebounds to go
with 4 blocks.

WSD vs. Union Grove Christian 51-59
Junior Kori Koss was on the re with 34 points to
pace the Lady Firebirds in a close game with Union
Grove Christian. Union Grove opened the game with
20 points in the rst quarter while the Firebirds only
scored 10 points. That is the difference in the result of
