WSD vs. Eastbrook Academy 61-72 Eastbrook had to fight to achieve a victory over WSD. The Firebirds outscored Eastbrook during both first and fourth quarters while Eastbrook took second and third quarters. However, Eastbrook handily outscored WSD in those quarters to win. Arthur Hart was the leader of the team with 24 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks and 2 rebounds. Taylor Koss was close behind with 23 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Senior guard #21 Brady Bostwick also helped out with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. WSD vs. Grace Christian Academy 36-80 RIGHT: Senior WSD fell flat against Grace Christian who outscored our boys significantly in all four quarters of the game. WSD vs. Minnesota Deaf 35-41 WSD vs. Arkansas Deaf 53-22 After a long string of depressing losses, WSD won in a convincing fashion against Arkansas Deaf during the first game of the GPSD Tournament. That victory lifted WSD’s spirit very high. The dominance was firmly established by half-time with the score of 28-9. The second half was the same for WSD with the score of 2513. With complete dominance, Arthur Hart led the team with 21 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks, 3 assists and 2 steals. Junior guard #20 Lennon Morrissey helped out with 12 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals and a block. Dylan Laux and Brady Bostwick had 8 points each. WSD vs. Oklahoma Deaf 45-37 WSD continued its winning streak in GPSD Tournament against Oklahoma Deaf. WSD had the lead at half-time with the score of 22-15 and continued to outscore Oklahoma during the second half but just barely with the score of 23-22. Sophomore Arthur Hart was the leader of the team with 14 points, 14 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 assists. Senior #21 Brady Bostwick assisted the team with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. WSD fell just short of capturing the championship of the GPSD Tournament. The lead was traded throughout the game. At the end of the first quarter, WSD led by 12-5. By half-time, Minnesota led by 24-18. At the end of third quarter, the scores were tied 30-30. At the end, Minnesota somehow turbocharged themselves and took the championship.
