My name is Jason Marshall, and I am the Superintendent of Schools for Palestine ISD. The Mission of Palestine Independent School District is to foster relationships that Excite, Engage, and Empower our students and community to achieve Excellence. Our enrollment of over 3,450 students is the highest it has been in 20+ years, and we thank our students and parents for trusting us with your future. We hope our caring staff, tremendous facilities, and outstanding educational opportunities continue to fit your needs.

Thank you for taking the time to view our latest endeavor, Wildcat Nation, a publication created by Palestine ISD Printing and Imaging Technology & Audio/Video Production students. We're here to highlight and celebrate Palestine ISD and how Palestine ISD interacts within the Palestine community. Our goal is to educate and inform our constituents by embracing this innovative means of communication.

Each of our campuses and the district met the state's academic accountability targets for 2015-16 including Palestine HS being designated as a College and Career Readiness campus. Our students and staff members on all campuses are working hard to further their academic accomplishments in 2016-17. Several of our athletic teams reached milestones last year including winning our first-ever Boys' State Soccer Championship, and our 16-17 teams are already going strong this year. Our district-wide Robotics Program continues to grow, and our HS students look to improve on last year's finish at the National Robotics Championship. We had the highest number of College Dual Credit hours obtained by a PHS graduating class last year, and this year's seniors are on-pace to eclipse that record setting number. Each of our HS students takes 1 or more Career and Technology classes, and our numbers of career certifications continues to climb each year.

I encourage you to visit one of our campuses and see for yourself the great things happening each and every day in Palestine ISD. Go Cats!
