The district is home to a couple of key bucket list items for snowmobilers - the Northern Corridor Adventure and the Abitibi Canon Tour. The Northern Corridor Adventure is a 1,645-km odyssey that takes in all five of the District’s loops. Riders go from Cochrane to Hornepayne/Dubreuville, hitting a long line-up of friendly towns, accommodations, scenery and fun. The Abitibi loop is 300-km and starts in Cochrane. This trail crosses a power dam and provides an unforgettable feast for the eyes - the Abitibi Canyon.

Spending time in District 15 is sure to please any rider of any level looking to experience touring, powder running, hill climbing and ice fishing.

“Our trails are second to none,” Northern Corridor du Nord Snowmobile Association District Manager Erin Van Alstine said. “They are 18-feet wide and are great for novice riders. The trails are picturesque and there is much wildlife to see, such as moose, lynx and wolves. We hear from riders about the fact they can go for hours and not see another rider, and they like that.”
