Martin Murray is taking one more shot at the big adventure. The 44-year-old co-owner of Murray OK Tire in Kapuskasing, and resident of Val Rita-Harty, has had the North Pole on his mind for 10 years. He wants to lead his own expedition and trek across the Arctic Ocean to the famous and historical site. He has had a few expeditions in the past fall through, for one reason or another. Murray is determined to get it done. He has joined forces with another expedition to help lower costs for flights into the vast frozen wilderness of the Far North. This group is hoping to attract two additional expeditions to further lower costs.
Murray has done his part. He has devoted a decade of his life to making the adventure of a life time a reality.
