Beth Mairs isn’t afraid of change. She instigates it.

In her early 30s, Mairs, had been deeply engaged with social work in Toronto in anti-poverty, community development and health and women’s issues. She ran group work, advocacy, community organizing and coalition work. It came with a price. It burned Mairs out. She knew it and went through some drastic changes in her life.
