Diane also has a beautiful collection of jewelry made with insulator glass. Insulators
were originally designed to keep wires linking telegraphs and telephones insulated
from the wooden poles. They were made from glass in a multitude of shades, though
Diane collects and works primarily with the various shades of blue.
I could not leave the island without a Diane Page original, so I came home with a
beautiful set made of insulator glass, but still have my eye on some of her beach
glass pieces as well.
