James Lisney performs Schubert cycles in our sixtieth Masterworks
concert. Masterworks has established itself as an essential thread of
the Pittville Pump Room’s programming of quality chamber music. Past
artists include Dame Emma Kirby, Wolfgang Manz, Alexander Baillie and
the Adderbury Ensemble.

A recent health scare (well, a mild bout of sciatica) has made
“Sheffield’s finest singer/songwriter” (The Times) focus on his
mortality, and the many things he needs to do before the
inevitable move into a hospice. As well as new songs, John will
bash out the favourites on his trusty Yamaha.
