The WCIT Journeyman Scheme I have recently taken over the Chair of the Journeyman Scheme from Roger Dimmock and thought it would be useful to remind the Company’s members of what the Journeyman Scheme is all about. Firstly, I would like to publically thank Roger for all his hard work in his time as Chair. The intention of the Scheme is very much that we seek to provide an opportunity for those more junior members of our industry to get to know about the WCIT, whilst receiving some professional guidance from a mentor within the Company. Each year the Journeymen also compete for the Pinkerton Award, which is won through the submission of an essay selected from a number of different topics.
