Heather : My mom Hermione Gross was crowned Miss British Guiana in 1961 . She has always embodied abeautiful inner spirit , alove for Guyana and the culture , and taught us beauty comes from within ( she wore no makeup when she won )!
She is anurse for over 30 years , and cares for people with an energy and vitality of life that shines .
She gardens and is passionate about embracing life . She puts everyone first – cooking meals for others , listening and caring for all her neighbors and friends , and making special holistic meals for her dog Gigi .
She often goes without , so others can have more – even growing up she made all of our clothes by hand when we couldn ’ tafford more , and she taught us that our creativity could make us anything we can dream of . She is very deserving of amakeover tolet her be the one cared for ! Regards her daughter , Adrianne
