without question. She likes to be involved in whatever is going on.
Mr Danisile Morris Gwebani started work at Victoria Park in 2005 as a casual painter. Mr Milne, our
Estate Manager, found him to be an efficient worker and so he was appointed permanently soon after
that.
Mrs Van is not your typical housewife. She is more
at home doing technical things than cooking and
sewing. She likes to keep a strict eye on her sonin-law, our own Mr van der Watt, if he is fixing or
mending anything around the house!
Although he started off working on school maintenance, he was later transferred to the sports fields,
where he currently works. He is soley responsible
for the maintainance of our tennis and netball courts
The changing rooms in the pavilion also fall under
his care, and our young sportsmen and women have
Mr Gwebani to thank for the cleanliness and good
maintenance of these facilities.
She is a great lover of animals, especially her four
dogs and cat, whom she treats as her children. In her
typical caring way, she is always sensitive to their
needs.
I would like to thank Mrs van Vuuren for her loyalty and service over the past ten years, and wish
her many more happy years of association with the
school.
He is also one of the team responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the fields, which
includes cutting the grass and trimming the hedges.
Mr Gwebani does not have a family of his own, but
he loves working with the young people at Victoria
Park. I have found him to be a cheerful and considerate man, always co-operative and willing to do
whatever is asked of him.

He loves soccer, and is always happy when our Soccer Challenge comes round in March and he can be
one of the security workers. He is also a huge Orlando Pirates fan.
In his personal life, he is a dedicated member of the
New Apostolic Church and he is very happy to be
