VPHS Mrs Anne Sterley 10 Years which she donates to Interact as gifts to children’s homes. Her son, Shaun, is an IT expert and daughter Cathrine is a primary school teacher. The love of her life is her two year old granddaughter, Blair. Many photos and stories are shared about Blair’s latest achievements. We would like to thank Anne for her loyalty - all the buttons she sews on blazers, torn pants she mends, stained jerseys she launders at home and the long hours at the beginning of each year. These days many new items form part of the stock and the shop has had to be extended twice in order to have extra storage space. Mr Sebachian Xolelani Jafta spent his early years in King Williamstown, before moving to Port Elizabeth, where he completed his Matric at Phakamisa High School. He then worked for Short’s Power Systems, before coming to work at Victoria Park High School. Anne enjoys sewing and knitting, especially jerseys In 2003 Mr Jafta had seen an advertisement for Vic- 33
