Daniel Wensley (U/17 High Jump) started the season with a personal best height of 1.55m. He won
every competition (Zone Meeting, PE High Schools,
Metro Schools and EP Champs) clearing 1.65m in
the school’s Inter-House, 1.75m at the Metro High

the EP team and he took 3rd position in Cradock.
Xabiso Menze is mostly known at VP for his exploits on the rugby field as he was one of the stars of
the U/15A team this year. He has been dominant in
his 400m event winning every competition leading

very tough competition in Cradock and finished in
3rd place, walking away with a bronze medal.
Reece Brower (U/19 High Jump), the best U/19
high jump athlete in Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela
Bay and the Eastern Cape. He has won every single
high schools’ competition, including EP Champs and
subsequently qualified to represent Eastern Province
Athletics at the ASA Junior Champs held in Stellenbosch in April. His personal best height of 1.94m
was not only a school record, but was the qualifying
height for U/19 Men to compete at ASA champs. He
once again showed his class when he became Eastern Cape High Schools champion for the 3rd consecutive year!
Cayla Seddon (U/17 100m, 100mH & 200m) is
arguably the best female sprinter that has walked
through the corridors at Victoria Park High School.
Like Reece, she has also qualified to represent Eastern Province at the ASA Youth Champs which will
