The TADA board would like to thank Mr Hutchinson for his help throughout the year, as well as the
Matric members for their dedication and service.
TADA’s activities during 2014 consisted mainly
of fundraising and creating awareness within the
school. Our involvement in the food sales at the VP
Soccer Tournament and cake sales throughout the
year, helped to raise funds.

TADA week, held from the 4th to the 8th of August,
during which our society sold ribbons in aid of substance abuse awareness, had pupils sign a pledge
saying “no” to drugs. A guest speaker addressed
learners on behalf of our society, warning them of
the dangers of substance abuse; this created muchneeded awareness.
TADA ended off the year with a trip to the Shepherd’s Field Rehabilitation Centre, where R3000
raised by our society was handed over.
