Although its huge success in previous years placed immense pressure on the board, I firmly believe that we managed to meet all expectations. The night of the show went ahead without a hitch and was a huge This year TAG once again enjoyed an extremely busy and successful year. I definitely believe that the board’s weekend away at The Willows Resort, besides being an incredibly fun getaway, also helped to cement the bonds and relationships among the board members. It definitely contributed to the amazing group work which was evident throughout the year. Our first major project was our Pizza Day, on which we managed to raise a rather surprising amount of money, and I hope that the tradition of Pizza Days continues as each year becomes more successful. Next on our calendar was the Sports Extravaganza, where representatives of various First Teams worked extremely hard, giving up many hours in the evenings, and this was evident in their performance on the night. I am extremely grateful to all the teams that participated for their co-operation, and I would like to congratulate the netball girls who were awarded first prize in a competition that was immensely tough. 139
