My two years serving on the Junior City Council have been an experience of a lifetime and it has been the greatest honour being able to lead such a group of dynamic pupils as the Junior Mayor. I cannot believe how fast the time has flown! As with every JCC year, it has been extremely busy and this past tenure has been no exception. The New Year started with a bang and as always it was filled with projects. A new event for the JCC was the Youth Development Brunch that took place at Linkside High School. The topic was “I am….” and it was an incredible success. The day was filled with eats, treats, motivational talks and various entertainment acts. We started off the year with our annual camp to African Imprint, which is always a highlight for every councillor. We bonded and became a family and this is also where a lot of the planning for the forthcoming year took place. Various other projects held during this time included a raffle for a giant chocolate hamper donated by Cadbury’s. This was held by F
