VPHS CANSA sprayathon which is always a highlight for the pupils. We were honoured to be able to donate the money collected throughout the year to the care of babies at Dora Nginza Hospital. With winter approaching, we decided to hold our annual “Day without Shoes” in conjunction with our Winter Woollies Week and we collected a tremendous amount of clothes and shoes which we then donated to the under-privileged. During the final term of my Interact tenure, we hosted our annual and much anticipated Grannies’ Tea for the Buffelsfontein Old Age Home residents. We finished the year and bade farewell to the Matrics with a final Spring Civvies Day. This year has been incredibly busy but also a fantastic experience for me and I would like to take this opportunity of thanking the old board for all the hours and effort they put into Interact and also Mrs van Niekerk for her help and guidance and for making such an effortless transition into the position of Head of Interact. Good Luck to the new board! Daniella Patsalos 132
