We as a society have grown to be a family and have been able to work well together. During this year we have also added a few more activities than we have had in previous years and we have achieved most of the goals we set out for ourselves this year. Our year started off with a team-building and planning camp that created our mission and our vision for ACC for the year. This really empowered our body to create a better understanding of what we want to achieve and we developed great camaraderie on a more personal level between the individual members of our board. ACC has always been a hard-working team that seeks to support worthy causes in our community. We raise funds for different homes to help with the basic necessities that these homes might require. We have done so through regular cake sales throughout the year. We also had a drive, together with second year NMMU Public Relations students, for the Ithembalam Baby Home where we tried to get some basic necessities to help to cover their expenses. The winner who brought in the most goods got to go on a date with Miss PE. Here is a short report back from Natasha Bremner in Grade 10 T, who won the Breakfast Date with Miss Port Elizabeth, Nicola Grobbelaar: 128
