The Tale of Caradoc By Oskar Helendar Chapter 1

Why am I here?

¨Hey you come back here!¨ yelled the grocery store´s manager.

¨Ha, you´ll never catch me, not as long I have your food, ¨ yelled Caradoc. Caradoc is a 13 year old orphan who lives alone in a small apartment and has little money donated from the government. He has to steal some food to get enough money for him and to be able to buy other needs like clothes, household items, etc. Many people didn´t like him because he looked a bit weird. It´s like you can tell an Asian apart from a European, well it´s the same, he just looks weird. And he doesn´t have parents so he can be rude. Anyway back to the story.

Running down the busy street, Cardoc reached a small side street and ran through it. The damp and smelly street is one of his main escape routes and just when he reached the end, he bumped into some one. ¨Finally found you, kid. ¨ It was the grocery store´s manager.

¨He he, here´s your bread and soda, sir, I’ll be going now, ¨ responded Caradoc.

¨ I don´t think so, mister, you´ll be sweeping my stores floors until I can see my face in them! ¨yelled the manager.
