Visitation of Our Lady Celebrates Catholic Schools Week
Visitation of Our Lady School kicked off Catholic Schools Week with the celebration of a school-wide Mass focusing on the theme " Catholic Schools : Communities of Faith , Knowledge and Service ." The school-wide theme of " Catholic Superheroes " was also incorporated into a presentation after Mass as well as the week ' s activities .
Students in fourth through seventh grades were paired with younger buddies to make classroom door banners and participate in other activities . Students studied the “ saints as superheroes of education ” and created informational posters on their assigned " superhero saint ." The week ended with buddy partners meeting again to share snacks and fun activities .
