GUIDING PRINCIPLE
V-Day was created by artists and activists and as a result has a unique
organizational model. Unlike many global non profits, V-Day does not have a
central headquarters or regional offices. Instead, V-Day’s small team work remotely
from home bases arou d the world to sustain an online infrastructure that keeps
the V-Day network of volunteers activists (one billion strong and growing) linked,
informed, and engaged across the world. Through its virtual structure, V-Day is
able to keep traditionally high overhead costs very low, enabling it to devote 90
cents of every dollar raised to programmatic work.

V-CORE
The V-Day Core consists of Founder
Eve Ensler and a small number of
full and part-time team members.
A much larger number of supporters
and V-Day activists generously give
their time and lend their resources
to the movement. Eve Ensler is a
volunteer and has never received
payment from V-Day for her work a
s an author, performer or organizer.
