Dr. Brian Smith was invited to testify at the U.S. House of Representatives’ Subcommittee on Research and Technology Hearing – U.S.
Surface Transportation: Technology Driving the Future on June 12, 2015. In his testimony, Dr. Smith detailed the benefits the nation
realizes from the federal investment in the University Transportation Centers program, and also the importance of the program to the
development of the next generation of transportation professionals.
