MATS UTC
UVA CTS leads the Mid-Atlantic Transportation Sustainability University Transportation
Center (MATS UTC), a regional university transportation center selected to represent our
FHWA region in 2014. The Center includes six universities and all federal funding is 100%
matched. Environmental sustainability is one of the US DOT strategic themes for 2014.
The UVA CTS-led center is the only one of ten regional centers with a sustainability focus.
