FRIENDS OF THE ELDERLY

Friends of the Elderly s a program that provides opportunities for USU students to serve elderly people in Cache Valley through weekly activities at a local senior centers. This year, Friends of the Elderly partnered with Carl Inoway Senior Housing, Williamsburg Retirement Community, and Legacy House of Logan.

One of the highlights of this year occured in April. Working in conjunction with Williamsburg Retirement Community, the Friends of the Elderly program hosted a picnic for residents.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Habitat for Humanity an organization that participates in building homes around the valley that benefit those with housing needs. Over the course of the year, 18 families were served from the community of Nibley.

In May, Habitat took it's first ever build trip to St. George, Utah to serve a family of eight. Over the course of five days, the small crew helped build a house and explored the area.
