The Orlando Eye
Madame Tussauds Orlando
While Orlando is renowned for its famous theme parks, which offer
many experiences for student travelers, the central Florida city also
provide hands-on fun at attractions located on International Drive.
Cheryl Jones of Visit Orlando said that the I-Drive 360 entertainment
complex, which includes SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium, the Orlando Eye
and Madame Tussauds Orlando, is a must-visit for school groups.
As home to 5,000-plus amazing creatures, SEA LIFE Orlando
Aquarium offers an interactive, educational visit for groups. The
attraction’s more than 30 display areas provide a look at everything from
Blacktip Reef sharks and giant Pacific octopus to jellyfish, clownfish and
seahorses. Free dive shows and educational talks take place each day.
A ride on the Orlando Eye offers a bird’s-eye view of the city from 400
feet above the ground. School field trip packages combine admission
with a 45-minute educational program and a 4-D cinema experience.
Madame Tussauds Orlando combines the glitter and glamour
of the world’s most famous faces with an interactive and fun tour.
Students can learn how the wax statues are made and take photos
with the likenesses of more than 200 U.S. leaders, top entertainers and
SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium
prominent sports figures.
Jones said performance opportunities for choirs and bands are
available at I-Drive ͌\
