Summer is here!

The 2015 camping season started out great with a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. It is so nice to see the many returning campground members and new visitors to Cayman Landing.

The 4th of July is fast approaching. If you plan on visiting, please contact us in advance. We have limited cabin space and our off-road camping sites are filling up fast. The fireworks will be shot off on Saturday, July 4th at dusk. Shuttle service for the event will run from the campground to the lake and back.

We would like to welcome Michele Rascoe-Giraud and Tyler Cashmer to the Cayman office staff. You may know Michele who worked at the POA office helping with the assessment payments, and Tyler from the Ice Cream store. He’ll still be there as well. And don’t forget Molly who is the real key to making things happen!

We have moved the ice cream operations to the Cayman Lodge. All in all, we feel this will be a good move as we continue to look to improve ways to serve our the campers.

Please join us for church services at the Cayman Lodge every Sunday at 10 am. It’s a great way to meet fellow campers and to find inspiration.

We are running a weekday special through the month of June for the cabins. We have several weekends already booked with large groups. However, we are offering a 10% discount on cabin stays Monday through Thursday.

Our current office hours are 7:00 am until 3:00 pm Monday and Tuesday. 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Wednesday through Friday. And 9:00 am until 5:pm Saturday and Sunday. You can reach the office at (814) 913-1437, or by e-mailing us at [email protected].

We have great Cayman and Treasure Lake merchandise, as well as other cool things at the Cayman Office. Stop in and check things out.

Our Mascot, Dumpster, has been out and about. Look for him around the campground throughout the summer. It’s incredible to see the faces of the kids when they see the friendly, furry critter.

I want to personally thank all of you great folks that make Cayman Landing “The True Treasure” of Treasure Lake!
