Breakfast with Santa
Adults and kids alike enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at the Lakeview Lodge while waiting for Santa to arrive. Santa brought a special guest with him this year, “Buddy the Elf”, and what a crowd pleaser he was. With several crafts and a visit with Santa and Buddy the kids were entertained throughout the morning. A special Thank You to our Santa (Dan Johnston), Buddy the Elf (Joe Beatty) and Lori Johnston our costume designer. Without your help this day would not have been so special.
Winterfest Chili; Chowder & Soup
Cook Off
Although the weather did not cooperate for some of the outdoor Winterfest actvities it did not stop us from having a great time inside. The Ski Lodge kept everyone nice and dry by hosting the Annual Winterfest Chili; Chowder & Soup Cook Off. Our judges John Yohonos, Natilie Robinson, and Gary Shelly had the hard task of tasting the 7 Chili entrys and 6 Soup & Chowder entrys . Guests who donated $2 to the local Human Society were able to taste all the entrys and cast their vote. The judges and guests agreed unanamously on the Top 3 in each Category!
