The Golf Committee’s purpose is to make recommendations to the Board of Directors on maintaining the value and integrity of the Golf Courses. The Committee is also a resource to the Golf Staff, General Manager and the Board of Directors for study, comments, and recommendations regarding issues involving golf at Treasure Lake. The Committee hopes to work with the Board of Directors and the management in establishing a 2 year, 5 year, and 10 year plan on golf at Treasure Lake. The Golf Committee is preparing to help promote golf activities, bring in new tournaments and pass the word out about the Treasure Lake Gold and Silver Golf Courses. We are looking into hosting our first fundraising tournament to bring in monies for permanent restroom facilities on the courses.

The Golf Committee members serve the Treasure Lake residents for a term of 1 year. To be a member of this Committee you must be in good standing with the Treasure Lake POA. The member should have an interest in the golf operations in particular and be able to commit the time to serve effectively. The Golf Committee meets the first Monday of every month to review old business and new concerns or opportunities.

The Golf Committee would like to invite ALL to attend the Annual Golf Clean Up Day this April 5, 2014. Meet at 8:30am at the Gold Course Club House. Volunteer to help clean-up around the courses. Last year we had 50 volunteers join together to help clean up the course. In 2014 we would like to see that number double and have 100 plus volunteers to really make this a successful event. Take the time to get to know your Treasures Lake Golf Courses and meet some of your fellow golfers and residents with this great event.

We would like to Thank our current Golf Committee for their service to the Treasure Lake Community: Chairman Steve Matthews, Secretary Judy Nisewonger, Karen Deloia, Darla Hawley, Dave King, Dick Hudson, Jeff Smith, and Mark Hoffer.

The Golf Committee is committed to bringing Treasure Lake Golf to it residents as well as being inclusive with our surrounding communities. We want to make the Treasure Lake Gold and Silver courses a thriving amenity for the residents and community alike.
