Special Events

The summer of 2015 may have been a little wet, but our events and activities made a big splash. Our mornings started off with water aerobics and swim lessons, followed by fun- filled days at the pools and beaches.

Evenings were spent listening to music at the Lakeview Lodge by groups such as Jazz and More, The Shaffer’s and of course, Anthony. For those who like being outside by the lake, the Coffee House Nights had great music by Mark Markervich and wonderful Italian sodas, or flavored coffees by Serene Bean. For those who were a little more ambitous, the Eshelman Tennis Tournament drew quite a number of tennis players for a good cause. The proceeds from the event benefitted the SPCA of Clearfield and Jefferson Counties.

By far, the biggest celebration of the summer was the 4th of July celebration here at Treasure Lake. Chef Scott and his crew made some fantastic food with a pig roast, shrimp boil, and good old fashioned hot dogs and hamburgers. Kids and adults enjoyed playing corn hole, or participating in the ever popular watermelon eating contest, or just hula hooping it with friends. There was a lot to do and see with the boat parade and the Cayman golf cart parade. The day ended with a spectacular fireworks display.

Also this summer, our Friday Night Movies for the kids were splash hits! There’s still plenty of summer left, so keep an eye out for event announcements.
