Home and Property Improvements

Since the spring season is upon us and thoughts of building projects are forming, I would like to extend a reminder regarding home and property improvement permit applications.

An application for a permit must be submitted to Treasure Lake Property Control before you build a new home, install a fence, drainage, change the exterior color or siding of any structure, replace a roof, install outside electrical fixtures, build, or install a shed, porch, deck, patio, sidewalk, driveway, boat dock, retaining wall, or seawall.

For Cayman Landing property owners, you must obtain a permit from Property Control before you place a new RV on a lot or replace your existing RV, replace a roof, build or install a shed, porch, deck, patio, fence or skirting.

Tree permits are also required for removal of trees over 6” in diameter.

Permit applications are available at the Treasure Lake POA office or on the website at www.treasurelakepoa.com. For your convenience applications can be mailed, e-mailed or faxed.

For more information on these and other home and property improvement projects please contact Property Control at 814-371-0711 ext. 110 or inquire at the TLPOA administration office.
