Dockside Notes

Dot McGee, Marina Manager

Warm weather and bright sunshine makes the true fisherman’s thoughts turn to getting the poles and tackle ready for another year of fine fishing in Treasure Lake. New line is definitely in order, as well as swivels, weights and hooks, and maybe a new lure or two. Last, but not least, don’t forget your 2014 PA fishing license, available at the Marina Store. State law requires everyone 16 years and older to have a PA license visible while fishing. Great fishing from the shoreline by Lakeview Lodge, New Providence Beach and Trinidad Beach, and of course from a boat is available to all residents and their guests. However, fishing from the docks and in the Marina area is prohibited. Please respect our rules at all times.

Remember the Marina Store has convenient store hours for all your fishing and live bait needs, as well as snacks, cold beverages, and Hershey ice cream.
