Spring? They say it's right around the corner, however the golf courses are still under snow cover. We are making progress with some warmer weather, however we do need warm nights to accelerate the melting process. Let's all be optimistic, and we’ll be playing before you know it.

Your Golf Associations have put together a variety of events for all golfers at Treasure Lake to participate in. Please check the website and pro shop bulletin boards for more information. Please join us for fun competition on our two championship golf courses. Tell your friends and neighbors!

Turf Tip

Now is the time to get your turf equipment ready for the upcoming season, change or sharpen blades, change oil and filters, spark plugs, air cleaners , all wheels and moving parts/ belts checked over, also if you haven't already done so, thoroughly clean under the deck and give it some undercoating.

Grease all fittings and lubricate where needed. (WD40 )

Also go over your sprayer and make sure it is functioning properly. Nozzles should be changed and calibrated yearly.

How to calibrate.

-Measure out 10 ft x 10 ft area on a hard surface.

-Add 2 gallons of water to your sprayer

-Spray the area as evenly as possible

-Measure remaining water in the tank/subtract,2gallons -remaining water

-This is the amt per 100 sq feet

-Multiply by 10 and get amt applied per 1000sq feet
