impact by Jonathon Heinbaugh

Impact.

He rides the winds of the American dream.

Afraid to steer away from the goals he was born into.

Told he was born for something he may never achieve.

What if he falls short?

What if he dies for nothing?

He has seem to have fallen off these winds.

He no longer lives for the expectations others have set for him.

He lives to reach his own goals.

He lives,

to be the best him,

he can be.

He may not be able to achieve all the things expected of himself,

people fall short everyday.

He may not cure cancer or win the nobel prize,

and that’s okay,

because for him

that’s not what lifes about.

Life to him is sometimes knowing,

we are not all born to do the extraordinary or impossible.

That sometimes there is no sunset to ride off in.

That’s the God’s honest truth.

But that doesn’t mean he can’t do something memorable.

He wakes up everyday with one goal on my mind,

to bring joy to someone to the extent where they will pass it on.

That they will be moved enough by something that he does,

that they maybe, want to pass it on.

He wants to know that he left the world a little bit better then,

when he arrived.

He just wants to know that at one point in his life he made the difference.
