Bassett said all the bending and lifting from cleaning can take a toll on the body and she wants to make sure her employees are healthy. “I love working with our staff and I really love being able to think of ways we can improve the business,” Bassett said. “How can we become greener and how can we keep pushing the envelope.” Business Growth Even with a flourishing business model Bassett is ready to dive deeper into green cleaning and take control of the services she offers. If all goes as planned she will be making and using her own eco-friendly cleaning products very soon. She is currently taking classes to learn how to make her own products. Once she begins making them Bassett said they will be offering them at local farmers markets. She believes it’s just one extra thing she can do to help her customers and the planet. After becoming frustrated with having to find and vet legitimate earth-friendly cleaning supplies, Bassett decided it would be easier to make her own. “There’s still a lot we can do to have an environmental impact,” Bassett said. “While having a good impact on people as well.” “Even the good eco-products, they don’t 100 percent disclose everything,” she said.
