Employment incentives include
free Yoga once a week and
Acupuncture once a month.
Bassett said all the bending and
lifting from cleaning can take a
toll on the body and she wants
to make sure her employees
are healthy.
“I love working with our staff
and I really love being able to
think of ways we can improve
the business,” Bassett said.
“How can we become greener
and how can we keep pushing
the envelope.”
Business Growth
Even with a flourishing business
model Bassett is ready to dive
deeper into green cleaning and
take control of the services she
offers. If all goes as planned
she will be making and using
her own eco-friendly cleaning
products very soon.
She is currently taking classes
to learn how to make her own
products. Once she begins
making them Bassett said they
will be offering them at local
farmers markets. She believes
it’s just one extra thing she can
do to help her customers and
the planet.
After becoming frustrated with
having to find and vet legitimate
earth-friendly cleaning supplies,
Bassett decided it would be
easier to make her own.
“There’s still a lot we can do to
have an environmental impact,”
Bassett said. “While having a
good impact on people
as well.”
“Even the good eco-products,
they don’t 100 percent disclose
everything,” she said.
