ernie ball music man st. vincent There’s no sicker guitar on this list than St. Vincent’s signature model. Its striking look is reminiscent of the forbidden lovechild of a Jazzmaster and a Firebird, and the tones are just as unique. Featuring an African mahogany body with a rosewood neck and fingerboard, and powered by three custom DiMarzio mini humbuckers, there are an infinite number of tones available via the fiveway pickup selector switch. It also features locking Schaller tuners and a specially designed floating tremolo, giving you freedom to do everything from subtle shades of vibrato to wacky dive-bombs without needing to click your tuner on. It comes in black, Vincent Blue (a finish handmixed by Annie Clark herself) and sunburst at select retailers. I had the pleasure of playing this guitar for an extended period of time and I must say it is delightful. It’s unlike any guitar I’ve ever played, which makes sense, considering the artist that designed it. If you’re looking for something different in both appearance and sound, you must try this guitar.
