STEP 7 IWire the pots and switch to the board, and insert wires for power, input, ground and the LED’s positive leg. Before continuing, it would be wise to get out your multimeter. Set it to the continuity setting and check each pair or adjacent rows, and across all cuts. Some adjacent rows will be connected in some spots because of the jumpers, but no row should be connected across a cut in the board. Doing this helps safeguard against errors that will prevent the pedal from fi ring up on the fi rst try. THAT'S IT! NOW LET'S BUILD THE ENCLOSURE! YOU'LL NEED: •1x enclosure, drilled for four knobs, a toggle switch, footswitch, LED bezel, input, output and DC jacks. I used the 125B size to ensure the board fi ts, and this is the size I recommend. •1x 3PDT latching footswitch (not momentary) • 2x ¼-inch mono jacks • 1x LED • 1x LED bezel (same size as LED) • 1x DC power jack • 4x knobs of your choosing • The completed board from the fi rst section • Wire 42 DIY // Clean Blend Fixes Everything: Build Your Own Colorsound Bass Fuzz
