Mount all jacks , the footswitch and the LED in bezel . Using a discarded lead from the circuit board instructions , wire lugs 4 and 9 of the footswitch together . Solder lug 4 , leaving 9 unsoldered . Insert the negative leg of the LED ( the shorter one ) into lug 1 on the switch . If it ’ s not close enough , use a wire . Solder it in .
This is where we will ground the whole shebang . The order isn ’ t important , but here ’ s what needs to be wired together : Lugs 2 and 6 on the switch , the negative lug on the DC jack and both sleeve lugs of the input and output jacks . I wired switch to DC jack to input to output . Whichever order you decide , leave the last spot unsoldered for later .
Wrap one leg of the LED resistor around the positive leg of the LED , and insert the other end into BOTH lugs of the DC jack . Solder the LED ’ s positive leg , and ONE of the DC lugs , leaving the other unsoldered .
