January
Sell dates on the calendar ! Each month everyone pays £ 1 ( or more ) to choose a date , for the chance to win a prize . This is a great way to raise £ 365 for Acorns .
Go the extra mile for Acorns and set yourself the challenge of a sponsored slim or indoor Zumba marathon .
Have a clear out . Donate any unwanted Christmas presents or items at home to your local Acorns shop .
Set up a fundraising group and plan a year ’ s worth of fundraising .
Volunteer a day for Acorns . This could be at one of our events or public collections .

Give Acorns your love by doing something special such as a themed evening . Such as a quiz or a wine tasting event . What about a movie night or a “ come dine with me ” competition ?
Start planning your summer event . Think about your venue ( it could be in your garden or local hall ) and your theme .

Acorns Children ’ s Hospice provides care for local children and young people with life limiting and life threatening conditions , as well as support for their families . Thank you for your support .
There is no charge to families for Acorns services but running costs stand at £ 7,500 per day per hospice - that ’ s £ 750 per day for each child ’ s care . The money raised from sponsorship will go towards helping us to continue to provide our vital care services . See the difference your donation could make :
